Incredibly moving adaptation of the classic HP Lovecraft story. The stunning retro treatment as a b&w silent film is brilliant and economical, while the musical score and percussion punctuate the screen images with supercharged emotion. Kudos to everyone involved!!

It takes courage to make a film like this in 2005. It is obvious that the director and the screenwriter made this film not for profit but because of their admiration for Lovecraft. Although it may not appeal to modern audiences, I think it is one of the most faithful Lovecraft productions that is closest to the work. 40 minutes is not a long time. I think it's definitely worth watching.

Watched it whole, and i loved it. The amazing soundtrack made by Troy Sterling Nies for this silent movie is perfect! It keeps all the suspense and the horror of the film. Also to mention the fantastic works made by Andrew Leman, by the great and horrifying (in a good way) Cthulhu puppet. (It has almost 100 points of articulation excluding tentacles) and the also amazing job by Terry Sandin by doing the stop-motion for the Cthulhu armature. I can name all the actors (Matt Foyer and many more) that made the excellent acting. This movie is great! 10/10.
