I loved this movie! I want to watch

I loved this movie! I want to watch it again with my 12 and 14 year old. The movie had well rounded characters and the story line had me very invested. I would definitely recommend it.

The Boy in the Woods is a deeply

The Boy in the Woods is a deeply emotional survival film centered on two young boys fleeing constant threat and violence during the Holocaust. Forced to hide in the woods, survive brutal winters, build shelter, and evade adults hunting them, the story is both heartbreaking and gripping. The film does not shy away from trauma. Moments of cruelty and fear are difficult to watch, making the experience genuinely gut-wrenching. While the screenplay plays things somewhat safe and avoids taking major risks, it still takes enough chances to remain engaging. What truly elevates the film are the performances. The two young leads deliver phenomenal work, creating strong chemistry that carries the story. The emotional shift between the brothers, as strength gives way to vulnerability, is especially powerful. The Boy in the Woods makes you feel protective, invested, and emotionally drained. Despite minor limitations in the writing, it is a moving film that leaves a lasting impression now yep!
