Hi, I've been kidnapped by Ethan Hawke

thats all people do here is cry and complain

thank you.

'Kids today (TM)' don't appreciate the classic slow burn tormenter/stalker/killer 80's archetype this movie features. It has that elm street vibe that I can imagine the 'kids' don't have the patience to let tension build into a payoff and them hating this movie because it's not a tik toc, or a youtube short.

4 out of 10 nothing special here

Movie was a good movie no complaints, nothing groundbreaking but it doesn't have to be - my score would be 7 out of 10

I can't believe this has an 88. Nothing happens, it's not a horror movie. Maybe the trailers just strayed too far but I found this to be a massive disappointment

thanks

The brother-sister love is the best and most powerful thing about The Black Phone. Very refreshing and very different from how it is usually portrayed on screen.

Kinda overrated? Why is this praised so much, it's not that great, 80% is kinda too high of a rating

the story is a bit unique for me. 9.5/10

its pretty good movie tho u should see it guys

The little sister actress is really good at acting very well-made film 8/10

Eee

Really So amazing film 8.5

Excellent movie. Very creepy and great actors.

its ight

Hope to see more of Ethan here, but they just selling his name in this one.

Before the sun sets, at the end of the day, a fiend roams the streets, to take young kids away, locks them in his basement, and teases, and taunts his prey, but the spirits are so strong, and call out his heinous play. Not the worst suspenseful serial killer flick with elements of the supernatural that's ever been made.

Good movie. 7/10. This is more of a ghost story.
