This movie is my guilty pleasure. Low budget

This movie is my guilty pleasure. Low budget. Some of the acting spotty. Despite those factors it is really unique and fun to watch. The main character is a gangster obsessed with 1960's and 1970's star, Steve McQueen. His loyalty is tested when he falls in love with an opposing crime family's daughter. Violent, endearing, and a pleasant surprise. Jesse V Johnson is a master craftsman. This film marked his transition from stunt person to Action film Director. While I love his other films something always brings me back to this one.

Very well done film. Simple story. Good characters

Very well done film. Simple story. Good characters. Great gun fights. Great tribute to Steve McQueen. I just watched this again. This is even better than I thought. Every word of the script is clean and tight. Jesse V Johnson is the most underrated guy in films today. Every film is unique and worth the investment of time.
