While the main idea is left ambiguous and the pacing can feel slow, this movie is worth watching based off of DiCaprio’s performance alone. Also, it is harshly realistic with its portrayal of withdrawal, and I found it artistically pleasing if occasionally odd.

I watched the film " The Basketball Diaries

I watched the film " The Basketball Diaries ". This movie is about a teenage boy whose name is Jim. He very loves basketball and wants to join in NBA. His life looks normal. He has friends and team. But he makes very bad step. He tries drugs and state drug addict. The film shows how you can screw up your life. Jim has a lot of problems in home and school. He feels very lonely and confused. Leonardo DiCaprio managed to show these emotions. To sum up, I like that film, it's realistic and serious. It teaches that you need to change the right people. I guess this film is best watching for teenagers.

I did like this movie. I thought it was really deep and emotional and the acting by everyone in the movie was fantastic.
