Plot summary

Jessica and Karl, loving parents to Rhiannon, who after years of trying to add to their family are elated to adopt Gabby, an 8-year-old orphan born with personal challenges. Their ideas of a perfect family come into question when they discover that Gabby is a troubled little girl, and the family begins to believe things aren’t what they seem. As the unsettling behavior of their “child” worsens and lies are uncovered, cracks in the family dynamic form with Jessica becoming increasingly concerned that adopted daughter Gabby is a threat to their family.

Honestly the movie was less than stellar. I

Honestly the movie was less than stellar. I agree with the rotten tomatoes review it is gripping in certain points but the ending really leaves you with I guess what you would call a cliffhanger of sorts. But it's actually more confusing than anything terrible way to end a movie. Definitely had potential to be a decent movie but the storyline was poorly put together. Total let down.

They should have named the movie, "The Dwarfan

They should have named the movie, "The Dwarfan". Good acting, horrible script. The orphan was so creepy and so obviously much older than eight that it was impossible to believe that anyone could think she was an eight year old. Maybe with better casting it would have been a more believable story. The ending was quite frustrating; Spoiler alert, Mom ends up in an institution and "Dwarfan" ends up staying with the family. I can't recommend this one.
