Well known as an anti-union film, it is hilarious to read the American IMDB review explaining to the British how questionable their experience of Trade Union policies were. T. Osser!!! This was always a questionable film and anyone who lived through Thatcher's Britain in the 1980s will see this film absolutely portrays the writing on the wall. Fascinating for all the wrong reasons... it is NOT about the courageous individual but the condemnation of the only power the[literal] working classes possess against the power of Capitalism and how workers could make their lot marginally better. Definitely worth a watch as a snapshot of pre-war mentality some 15 years out of date.
