At 2:33:16 in the extension version you can see a guy take down another guy’s shorts and see his ass at the bottom in the left corner. PRICELESS !!

Can we possibly get a Theatrical Version DVD rip version of the recently (march 21st) released "The Abyss: Special Edition with English subtitles on / THX Digitally Mastered, upscale it to 4K60?

Just here after this news. "'UFOs could be operating from secret alien base beneath our oceans', Congresswoman says"

looking for The Abyss True Lies and Paint Your Wagon all in 4K please

Can we possibly get a Special Edition 4k rip version of the recently (march 12th) released "The Abyss 4K Blu-ray Ultimate Collector's Edition / 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital 4K"?

Es la nueva versión en 4k??

Por favor la versión 4k subirla

4K Special Edition version please. It's available in the March release.

Bummer. The 4k version is only the theatrical cut, not the special edition (i.e., Director's) cut. Man, it would be great if they released that. The extended ending is so much better and makes so much more sense.

thanks a lot!

This is the latest 4K release that was in theaters one night only, December 6. The digital version of this, along with many other James Cameron films, were released December 12th via digital web purchase. The 4k UHD BluRays will be released in March for physical collectors. Hope this clears things up some... a lot of confusion here. Yes, this is the 4K copy I saw in theaters. So fresh and so CLEAN CLEAN!

it is not the latest edition?

Thanks for the 4K version. But is it the latest released one!? Because that's supposed to come out in March 12th! And it’s January!

thanks!!!

Thanks Freeman! This still stands up well over 30 years later!

Is this 4K version which remastered and played on cinema last month ?

Exactly! What's with the all the web rips or DLs? Blu-Ray or nothing, especially for 2160p.

2160p.Bluray or bust

Got excited for the 4k then saw that it's not the Special Edition.

Is there going to be a 1080p special edition available soon?
