Plot summary

After Stanley Putterman installs a state-of-the-art satellite dish in his backyard, a strange monster leaps off the screen and needs to feed on humans for survival. The Putterman children Sherman and Suzy—along with Suzy's metalhead boyfriend O.D.—are left to figure out what to do.

I thought this was some movie from my

I thought this was some movie from my childhood that’s vaguely stuck in my mind but this didn’t seem familiar. The practical effects were decent for 1986 and the story did have a bit of that quirky cheesy corny 80's charm. It managed to mildly entertain, more than the latest $200 million Nolan movie.

It’s just a fun 80s horror comedy. Yeah

It’s just a fun 80s horror comedy. Yeah it’s dumb, but still funnier than most stuff hitting screens today. Where horror comedy outings of the era such as Return of the Living Dead and Reanimator lean more heavily into the gore, Terrorvision leans more heavily into the social satire and absurdity. Check your brainszzzzzz at the door and have fun with it
