Plot summary

Fifteen-year-old Deena Marten wants the same freedom every teenager craves. But when she can't have her way, her rebellious temperament erupts in violence. Her parents, Cynthia and Todd, fear her new boyfriend, Garret, 17, is the cause. Distraught, Stephanie turns to alcohol, and Todd escapes in his work. They're unaware their Boy Scout son Adam, 13, sips from a vodka bottle hidden in his bedroom. And the problems in this dysfunctional family continue to worsen.

Awkward singing by Swank and definitely not on

Awkward singing by Swank and definitely not on par with her usual performances. It seemed to stop rather than end and fell very flat. Good story though; I'd love to see a remake.

Lame, but very much a made for tv

Lame, but very much a made for tv train wreck that made me keep watching. I wouldn't recommend watching with another person though unless they like embarrassing, poorly acted, pointless, unnecessary 90s family melodrama garbage. Because that's what this is…I finished it, that's a thing, finishing a movie, so 1 star haha
