Plot summary
While vacationing on an exotic island Detective Cassady Cruz begins a torrid affair with charming expat, Travis King, but when his ex-girlfriend, Minnie, winds up dead he is accused of her murder. Knowing he’s innocent, Cassady dives into exposing the real killer and clearing his name, but the more she digs for evidence the more buried secrets she finds and the further she’s lured into a deadly trap where only Travis can save her.

good acting thats about it
Murder in the sun in my opinion had some of the better acting ive seen in these films. Annika foster is one of the prettiest actresses ive seen in these films and she plays detective cassidy cruz, whos on vacation in the carribean investigating an arson case that we then dont find anything else about. She meets some people in a local bar, one of them gets murdred and she has to solve it, while trying not to fall in love with travis. Shes not convincing as a detective but good acting is good acting atleast to me; its a little predictable in places as to be expected but overall a fun watch if not cheesy.
