This movie was so bad, wtf is wrong with you people ? there is nothing good about it

@cytorrak director puts personal experiences or feelings into their movies. wow. that's crazy. can you imagine

As of this movie this director has now made three movies in a row -each with a higher budget- which he states are "metaphors for my trans experience". It's like if someone who one time had chicken pox exclusively directed movies about chicken pox, or someone with a foot fetish exclusively made movies about feet.

I watched this because people kept saying it was 200% better than Obsession. After watching it, here’s what I noticed: 85% of the movie felt like a very long conversations, I tried to convince myself to understand what others people art in their mind, 10% was Igbt segz scenes, and the remaining 5% was just realization that this movie stole 2hrs of my life. What I also noticed afterward was that many of the people calling this movie a “masterpiece” were the same type of people who genuinely act like I Saw the TV Glow is the greatest movie of all time. Just because this movie is about Igbt, doesn't mean we need to create hype about it, this is a terrible one, wake up!!

I don't know. I nwas excited to finally see it after all the good reviews but i turned it of after 1h20min expected much more horror but actually there isn't a lot going on.

@kawada_kun That sounds sort of promising. And Gillian Anderson has done quite good work after her "unexpressionism" in the X-Files. I'm in!

Too creepy for my taste. Watched the trailer & didn't even recognize Hannah Einbinder! But since it's quite weird (person behind I Saw the TV Glow is behind this as well - meh) & since it's quite bloody, Imma skip 100%

This an excellent movie, well-worth watching (but it's not meant to be a proper 'horror')

Well, coming from the director of "I Saw the TV Glow," it will be interesting. I'll eventually watch it when I get the chance.

That's how you make a f.ucking meta s.lasher. At a time when more films lean into s.exual repression, seeing such a liberating, empowering and s.ex-positive approach is a real breath of fresh air. Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson are two absolute legends and true queer icons, with Jane Schoenbrun proving once again that they're one of the most unique filmmakers working in horror today. That's a well-deserved 9/10 from me.
