The best part of this film is honestly

The best part of this film is honestly the over the top trailer, which is just priceless and suggestive, but the film does have a lot to offer as well: 'teens' who look to be in their late '20s at the youngest, and a remarkably stupid lead who is threatened by her boyfriend even looking at other women, so she starts whoring it around out of spite. Very over the top and corny, but a hilarious watch nonetheless. Give it a rental.

Okay, so the trailer to this movie usually

Okay, so the trailer to this movie usually makes its rounds on the 'net or any sort of found footage/weird trailer festival you go to. It's a pretty awesome trailer to be honest. So when I finally found a copy of the movie I was excited. Whilst not as great as the trailer, the movie is a pretty standard little exploitation film wrapped up in a morality play. There's two stories. The first is about a girl named Arlene hoping to "trap" (*groan*) her boyfriend Tony into marriage by getting knocked up. The second is of a new teacher in town that wants to teach the kids sex ed. There's also some random plot about some drug dealers who want the teacher out (I have no idea why...) and the teacher is put on trial by the town after the main chick ends up "pregnant." And the ending... well, let's just say it's not for the faint of heart or the childless... The best part? For serious? Hair makeup and clothes! Betsy Johnson clothes are worn on the main girl! 1967 Betsy Johnson! And my god... her hair is AMAZING.

Yeah, It's Real

Teenage Mother (1967) ** (out of 4) Notorious exploitation film from the also notorious director Jerry Gross. The "set up" of the story deals with a young, troubled girl who's dating the school jock and wants to become pregnant. Also on hand is a new health teacher, a knockout chick from Sweden, who wants to show her class a baby being born so that they can learn what birth is all about. These two "stories" really don't have anything going for them and they're just here to lead up to the ending, which I'll talk about in a second. These stories are rather boring, although there are some very laughable moments including an incredibly stupid dance sequence and another scene where the troubled girl tries to seduce her virgin, prep boyfriend. The notorious aspect of this film comes at the end when (in graphic closeup) we get to see the video of the baby being born. After seeing this I now know it's best for me to stay out of the delivery room when that time comes
