Amazing movie. Editing is a bit awkward at the first part. Character was portrayed well and you'll realize in the end why it named that movie. Worth watching!

If you like Lee Je-hoon in Taxi Driver

If you like Lee Je-hoon in Taxi Driver 1-2-3, you can see his evolution through his previous films. Phantom Detective is a graphic novel come to life, Je-hoon fits the character so well. Despite the snotty NY Times review here, Lee Je-hoon's acting is always supreme, he shines because he has that innate tough heroic sweetness. You can see it in his very early debut in The Front Line. Hong Gil-dong and Kim Do-gi fit Lee Je-hoon's unique style perfectly.
