@neo1966: Ah...another Kremlin mouthpiece, I see. I hope that instead of rubles they pay you with currency that actually has value. How about you F O from Ukraine and your lust for genocide. Ok, princess? Germany and Finland only shared a common enemy, since nothing good has ever come from Russia.

neo1966 let's not forget that Soviet first attacked Finland in 1939 in the Winter war. Secondly, Filand was never ally of Germany but as Finland was keen to regain lost territory, joined Germany in a pact to attack Soviet union. Parto f that was to defend the Southern border of Finland which unfortunately borders Leningrad. Had Soviet not attacked in the first place, this would not likely have been the case later. What you sow you reap.

@neo1966: First of all, Russia attacked Finland claiming they had detonated bombs in Mainila (1990 Gorbatchov admitted it was not Finland). Also Russian and Germany had signed a treat and they would divide the countries between them so in fact they were nazis allies. Finland was helped by Germany because in the end we both had the same enemy and there were only 1 finnish soldier against every 10 russian. The film is accurate and also relevant.

@hendriks3000 NOT historically relevant: 1944 was the time of defeat for Nazi armies and their allies including Finland. Notably, Finland was part of the genocidal year long siege of Leningrad (St Petersbourg) where about 1 million Russians civilians died of hunger and bombing. So, not an invasion from communists but the defeat of war criminals attack begnnning in 1941 (Barbarossa).
