Great Anthology (12,419 – 30 Apr 2026) Three Afro American gangsters go to the Simms Funeral Home to retrieve drugs that the funeral director Mr. Simms has found. He agrees to deliver the drugs but tells four horror tales related to corpses in coffins first. "Tales from the Hood" (1995) is a great horror anthology related to black people. All the tales are excellent and very well written and the conclusion, when Mr. Simms shows the three coffins where the drug would be is funny and concludes the film with golden key. My vote is seven. Title (Brazil): "Contos Macabros" ("Macabre Tales")

An entertaining if a bit of a B

An entertaining if a bit of a B grade film, this surprisingly good anthology film, is loaded with moral tales and social commentary. I'm surprised at how good it still is and it does hold up nicely. Not for everyone, but if you like these types of films it's not a bad waste of time and I like it!!!
