Plot summary

Living in London, at the peak of her career, a mother of three is diagnosed with MS. Following the sudden death of her husband and the loss of her job, she moves back home to Australia; where a chance encounter with her high school sweetheart gives her renewed hope in love as she battles the disease.

I really enjoyed this movie. Very true to life, and very moving. This is not a Hollywood type movie. It's real. It's authentic. So if you're looking for a Hollywood hype type movie, this isn't it, but I loved it for just that reason. I wish it had been longer, with greater detail and depth, but I get that there's only so much time. The important elements of the experiences are there, and it really tugs at your heartstrings. It would be an amazing book I would guess, as books typically have all that extra detail. Rotten Tomatoes really should remove the synopsis they have for this movie, as it tells the whole story! It needs to be way more vague. Something along the lines of, "A heartwarmingly true story about life, life choices, love, loss and dealing with a degenerative illness."

While I understand this is based on a

While I understand this is based on a true story the acting was horrendous. I too have MS and I also understand everyone’s experiences and symptoms are different but I just felt there was no real insight into the real pain that is felt not just in each episode/attack or each day but the mental struggle that comes with having MS and what it means for each person that suffers with it. Maybe it was more focused on the love story than a love story with MS. I think I just had really high hopes because the MS society was attached to it that it was going to be different.
