Plot summary

With problems on the home front, 15-year-old Murra is on the verge of lashing out. That is, until her policeman uncle thwarts her self-destructive behaviour with a lifeline: a “photo-safari for at-risk kids”. Murra isn’t entirely convinced, but she soon joins cantankerous Kylie, uptight Sean, happy-go-lucky Elvis, and camp counsellors Fernando and Michelle on a transformative bus trip to the Pilbara. On the trail, the teens learn about fun, friendship and first crushes, as well as the forces of ‘reality’ that puncture the bubble of youth.

The film is a 5/10. The direction is good, though the dialogue and some acting are not as applaudable. The themes and cinematography are displade well enough. Though the editing is just as good as the dialogue and some acting.

seeing, learning

A young indigenous girl joins a nature trek to the outback. Each one of the troup has their own issues that may or may not be shown and discussed with the others. As they drive around the less traveled parts of australia, the kids learn more about themselves and each other. Some really beautiful scenery of amazing australia! Which is probably why the leader encourages them to use cameras to record their journeys. Some lessons learned, as the group looks out for each other. It's quite good. And touching, as we learn a few things about the aboriginal culture. Directed by jub clerc. It's the first work of his that i have seen. It has won a few film fest awards.
