this movie has its moments. Like Milly & Glenn's meet-cute. The parts with Kimberly the dolphin AKA bubbles at 1st did not go swimmingly. Summer's mom Milly has an awkward first encounter with her vice principal glenn. They surprisingly fall for each other. Even though she's a free spirit. And he's by the book kinda of guy. After montage of Milly & Glenn's lovey dovey moments. He takes her whole family to a resort where he's going to receive a vice principal award. What should be a dream vacation turns into a nightmare. Grayson is very mature for his age. Milly is a hippie chick. Summer literally uses every last resort to put a stop to her mom's relationship. She even gets help from Glenn's daughter Sadie. In spite of Sadie & Summer's sabotage, Captain Otto's (who should be called Captain octopus) swarmy attempts. Milly & Glen bet The summertime blues. There are moments of hilarity. It is awesome to see The return of Jerry O'Connell. For the most part it's a fun family movie.

I had such a great time watching Summer’s Last Resort. It is funny, sweet, and has a lot more heart than I expected. The story is fun, but it also captures those moments of growing up and realizing how quickly life changes. The cast works so well together and the chemistry feels genuine. Violet McGraw was a standout for me. She gives such a natural performance and brings so much warmth and sincerity to her character. She has a quiet confidence on screen that makes every scene she’s in feel authentic. This is the kind of movie that leaves you smiling when it’s over. It is the perfect summer watch with plenty of laughs, memorable characters, and just enough emotion to make it stick with you. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining and heartfelt movie.
