Plot summary

After the events of the TV series, the 18 year old Yoko Godai has abandoned her special agent Saki Asamiya name to return to her normal life, and is now studying for college entrance exams. However, she accidentally bumps into a young man named Kazuo Hagiwara trying to escape from a group of hitmen, and learns that he comes from Sanko Academy, a private school located in a remote island known as Hell's Castle. The school is ruled by a former revolutionary thought to be dead named Hattori who is trying to brainwash students into terrorists to help him stage a fascist coup d'etat in Japan.

Ahhh. I am sure many Asian girls, when

Ahhh. I am sure many Asian girls, when this came out, felt the same way about this movie as I did about [i]Girls Just Wanna Have Fun[/i]. This film is not for everyone and definitely has its cheese factor about it but is enjoyable. These teenage girls are innocent and all dressed up in schoolgirl outfits and duel weapons of children’s toys (yo-yo's and marbles). Wait just a minute before all you guys rush out to rent this if you are looking for uniformed young girls kicking butt. I should warn you the girls lack sex appeal and I think you would be highly disappointed if you were thinking of watching it sololy for the 'thrill'. Some scenes of Suka bring to mind images from Kill Bill just in the manner of the weapons and the way she looks as she slowly twirls that yo-yo. The movie is enjoyable if you can get into this genre of movie and remember that it was made in the late '80's. Sukeban Deka: The Movie was made after a TV show and starred the same female lead.

A young Japanese schoolgirl recruited into an organisation

A young Japanese schoolgirl recruited into an organisation to tackle criminals armed with a deadly yo-yo. Some scenes just have to be seen to be believed which includes the one with the helicopter. Quite entertaining although slightly far fetched at times.
