A psychological mystery that, unfortunately, never resolves itself, though an interpretation is possible. It was faintly reminscent of "Lost Highway" and "Mulholland Drive," but does not quite capture Lynch's grasp on things. Worth a watch for its ominous, foreboding atmosphere and often-penetrating writing; but the non-linear, fragmented, unreliable-narrator structure may be disorienting to many. The actor, Oskar Brown, does a poor job much of the time, speaking his lines like a robot; whereas the actress, Judith Shoemaker, displayed a subtle, teasing, attractive performance and is the star of the show. All in all, "Stutter" stutters. 5.5/10.
No rotten tomato score yet? Only wanting audience score of course.
Stupidity, LOL ? ? ?
