Plot summary

Tom Ludlow is a disillusioned L.A. Police Officer, rarely playing by the rules and haunted by the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he's been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him.

Entertaining. Not as bad as the ratings suggest

Entertaining. Not as bad as the ratings suggest, but still a middle‑of‑the‑pack crime‑action movie. Reeves plays the same character he’s been doing with slight tweaks, so you’ve seen it before. Cast is decent. Script and direction are formulaic at best. Fine for a popcorn bucket, but probably not the kind of movie you would want to own for your DVD collection.

Preposterous and yet somehow dull. A lot of talent is wasted in this painted by numbers cop movie - especially a criminally underused Hugh Laurie.

Worth much more than the "critics" reviews. Well directed, written and brought to screen. Stellar cast and all of them really convincing in character. Great cinematography and visually stunning. Action sequences are all very well planned and choreographed. Enough drama, intrigue, twists, suspense, blood & guts, emotion, gunfights and street fighting. Fast paced and entertaining
