This is an odd film in Demme's music

This is an odd film in Demme's music film ouvre as it eschews the style and big stage production of "Stop Making Sense" and "Heart of Gold" for a bare bones production that works perfectly for Robyn Hitchcock's music. There is one camera transfixed on a makeshift stage in a Manhatten store with the window and passersby as the back drop. The star of the film is Hitchcock's unique music but non-fans will enjoy the presentation as well.
