Deeply appreciated from the history

It can be seen that the production team put a lot of efforts on reforming the historic background, and also did a good job of keeping commercial excitement as its genre. The actor's performance is outstanding to different generations. You must watch to the end so that the truth is discovered in an unexpected way. Highly recommended.

High-Rated Historical Mystery Series

It perfectly blends a real-life cold case with a gritty crime thriller. By following the leads as they investigate a dismemberment case, the movie uncovers a historical tragedy and captures the stifling atmosphere of the post-war era. It really shows how helpless ordinary people were under the system, and the father-son bond is truly heart-wrenching. I loved how the leads start with a breezy, upbeat pace but gradually pull you into the deep, heavy emotions of the story.

Really enjoy

Combining true history with years of preparation, the director integrates historical facts with a detective story for a fast-paced plot. The heartfelt performances between the father, son, and the murderer are truly touching and tear-jerking.The film masterfully recreates the noir atmosphere of 1960s Taipei, pulling the audience into a world of shadows and buried secrets.A hauntingly beautiful blend of historical tragedy and investigative suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
