Plot summary

Kristen and Hannah are best friends­–smart, likable and college-bound– and also addicted to heroin. The pair of seemingly unlikely addicts spiral down a path of destruction, hiding their secret from well-meaning but busy parents behind pink bedrooms and school uniforms, propelling their tight-knit community from disbelief to disaster to, ultimately, hope.

A very painful movie.. Plot can be a bit cluttered and messy at times. Saved for me by solid acting, soundtrack, and a few especially powerful moments. I'll look forward to more movies, both by Better Noise Films, and also ones starring Katie Kelly!

The 99% I feel is misleading. The movie

The 99% I feel is misleading. The movie is excellent from the perspective of struggles teens face and is sort of a HOLY S*IT feeling throughout. Not a "family friendly" movie at all, but it's message hits hard and is impactful.
