Plot summary

A kung-fu manual known as the Sacred Scroll is stolen from the Emperor's library. An army detachment is sent to recover it. Meanwhile, a young swordsman and his fellow disciple are accidentally drawn into the chaos.

Shame on me that skipped this and go

Shame on me that skipped this and go straight to sequel(Legend of Swordsmen).Frankly,Sam Hui is quite old to play Ling yet he is the best choice to sing the main song that was done by my all time favorite HK composer James Wong,those Golden Days.Plus,Director King Hu is the man behind the camera.They didn't kill the tittle even without following the original novel.

One of the best wuxia film that came

One of the best wuxia film that came out of the HK cinema in the 90s. Wonderfully directed and features great action sequences. A number of big name directors were tagged to this film, and the final product is nothing short of amazing.
