Don't forget that the Russians and Germans were allies from 1939 to 1941. The Russians even invaded Poland at the same time as the Germans in 1939. If the Germans hadn't attacked the Soviet Union in 1941, what would the Finns have done? Perhaps formed an alliance with Santa Claus. This film is propaganda.

Of course isolated dudes with no friends outside of the internet have a problem with a movie where nazis die... LOL

kissmyyarbles,you don't know nothing to Finnish history!!,My Grandfather give her life in that war and we have a deal with Germans and they come 'help' us against Russians but when Russian attack with full force Germans run away and burn hole Lapland on they way.. And we don't newer had any Jew heroes in our military.. Movie is very good. 7/10

Just for clarification: Finland didn't really to be allied with Germany, it was a "marriage of convenience": the Soviets had invaded Finland and now Finland had the chance to retake their land. While it's not actually true, as an earlier commenter said, that Finland didn't help the Germans (they allowed access for Germans to pass and at times they fought side by side and they closed the north in the siege of Lenningrad) they refused to invade Soviet territory except that which had previously been part of Finland. Finnish jews were even awarded the iron cross, but they refused to take them.
