Needless to say that I had never even heard about this 2025 comedy titled "Sister-In-Law Act" prior to stumbling upon it by random luck here in 2026. And since it was a movie of which was not familiar, then of course I opted to check it out.Writer Michael Miceli failed to deliver a script that entertained me. The pacing of the narrative was unbelievably sluggish and anything but entertaining. While "Sister-In-Law Act" was listed as a comedy, I have to say that there wasn't an ounce of comedy to be seen anywhere throughout the course of the movie.Well, one thing that worked in favor of the movie, was that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. I actually do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in "Sister-In-Law Act" were adequate, though hardly worthwhile mentioning.This was a swing and a miss of a movie, and one that I struggled to sit through. And it is by no means a movie that I would recommend you to waste 86 minutes on watching. Some of us literally suffered through this, so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.My rating of director Mark Henderson's 2025 movie "Sister-In-Law Act" lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.
