Did Freeman rip the aspect ratio incorrect? I can't imagine that the BR discs were wrong! I do however enjoy my revised copies and have seen the first two parts so far.

The aspect ratio was indeed incorrect. Tthe film was shot in 4:3 - after downloading it I changed the ratio on my revised copy permanently. The true aspect ratio was easily ascertained om IMDb

You can not compress a 9 hour mini-series into a 3 hour film and not expect it to be wanting.

Aspect ratio is tampered with. It should be 1.33 but it was stretched to 16:9. It shows. Lame.

@radix27 You most probably are a bitching dirtbag and must smell like putrid diahrrea

its been edited alot ...parts are missing

aspect ratios are wrong

i noticed the files aspect ratio were off. The video appears to be shorted vertically. I tried changing the default on my player to 4:3 and it worked but I wish the file had been saved in that aspect ratio

A nation of violence, Samurai warriors ... and forbidden love.

there are technically 5 parts for the mini series. The first episode being 180 minutes. Episodes 2-4 are each 62 minutes long and episode 5 is 180 minutes. The way this is broken out, time wise, doesn't make sense.

TV series and mini series were not broadcast on this site. Why is it starting to air now?

Waiting for other parts to come, thanks team!

byaydin i take it you have NEVER seen this mini series...there are NO subtitles..the narrator an cast tell you e erything you need to know

The full Shogun series will be coming out in 2024 on Hulu and Disney +.

badlooz, same here!!! and i would not mind spending the bandwith and getting the disc space for a 1080p version of the complete series as well (i know this site is for movies but i cannot find it anywhere)... hu hu....

WTH, You got to be kidding this miniseies is over 9 hours long, please try to post properly with all parts included on the page. thanks
