Plot summary

When a global pandemic limits the possibility of travel, a honeymooning couple gets stranded at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel where a skeleton staff of two employees tend to them. As tensions escalate amidst a forced lockdown, it becomes apparent there is more to fear at the storied hotel than just cabin fever.

Production design is A+. From the ominous room-508 key card to the faded lobby glam, every prop reinforces the marriage-under-siege theme. Directors Beyrooty & Martin squeeze symbolism from every frame—nearly flawless work in visual storytelling.

My partner and I wanted something creepy but not full-on gory—mission accomplished. A few character choices feel convenient for the plot, yet the suspense kept us passing the popcorn back and forth right to the final reveal. We both walked away grinning.
