She Came from the Woods' (2023), a comedy

'She Came from the Woods' (2023), a comedy horror flick, is a wild ride. It throws you into the deep end with a bloody pitcher and a story that barely holds together. Honestly, it's a guilty pleasure of mine – despite the narrative's lack of cohesion. The central mystery revolves around the woman from the woods. Is she a demon? A ghost? I've concocted my own theory: she's a demon who, through some dark magic, merges with the soul of the grandfather's deceased wife. This explains her obsession with the ring. He wanted his wife back, but she returned twisted, reborn as this demonic witch-creature, whom he ultimately kills. Then, bizarrely, she's resurrected years later. Now, I'm pretty sure the filmmakers didn't delve this deep into the lore, or even prioritize a coherent plot. But, damn, was it enjoyable! The characters, though cliché and stereotypical, were undeniably fun. And the kills? Surprisingly glorifying. I'm siding with my own gut on this one, not the critics. 'She Came from the Woods' isn't a masterpiece, but it's undeniably entertaining. This film is fun. The ambiguity is a part of the fun. With my own little head-canon, I had a blast trying to piece together what could have happened. Ultimately, the film leaves you with more questions than answers, inviting you to create your own interpretation. It's a chaotic, delightful mess. Spoiler Alert: If you prefer your horror neatly packaged, this might not be for you. But if you're up for a bizarre, enjoyable romp, give it a shot.

I now know how the movie weapons came about which was a much bigger hit. I fall with the general public on it. It’s a very bad dry rub of Friday the 13, evil dead, and weapons that isn’t worth eating!
