@ joeperry - Sharks hold a special place in the food chain and ecosystem. They help control the seal population, which means more fish for fishermen to catch for us. Cows, pigs and chickens are raised for our consumption, so there's a big difference. You're also diluted if you think there aren't any documentaries around for them. Way more for them than sharks. Rob is right: the larger the animal (tuna as well), the more mercury in the flesh. I've eaten shark a long time ago (it was prepared correctly) and it had a poor taste. I'd never eat one again because: this series of documentaries, high mercury and they taste like crap. I eat meat that it grass fed and humanely raised, or I go hunting and fishing to get my own. I don't agree with the veiled vegan agenda in this movie, but to each their own.

I dive (scuba) regularly and actually like sharks...seeing them in the wild is a real joy. I've always been against killing sharks for no reason but I do understand that on rare occasions one can go rogue and begin actively hunting humans, however those cases are rare. So how exactly am I an accomplice in this ? Some documentarians just like using lies and buzzwords to sell a product.

I don't feel ashamed for being on the top of the food chain. And further more, I don't feel guilty for eating meat either. So yeah... There's nothing wrong in loving to eat meat. In my perspective, this is all bullshit to lure us off of the real problems of society. Mainly poverty. The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer. And they serve us with films such as this and vegan crap to keep us busy and at each other's throats. And what's sad, it's working like a charm.
