Silly, low brow, and kinda embarassing for all involved, But done with such fast paced high energy, And has such an attractive charming cast, who give their all, making it all very amusing, And helps counteract some of the annoying slapstick, especially during the car chase finale.

Sometimes this film gets overlooked in Natalie Wood's filmography. Wood lights up the screen as Dr. Helen Gurley Brown adding a sexy but intelligent and comedic style to her character. Bacall and Fonda playing The Brodericks add another comedic layer to the film. Tony Curtis playing the sleazy writer who will do anything for a story isn't far-fetched from the writers of the day (and even today in a social media world). A fun , classic comedy with charm and humor mixed in.
