Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy

Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America is a deeply disturbing but necessary documentary that exposes decades of abuse and systemic cover-ups within the Boy Scouts of America. Rather than sensationalizing the subject, the film relies on survivor testimony, internal documents, and factual reporting to show how widespread the abuse was and how often it was buried to protect the organization’s image. Hearing survivors speak about trauma they have carried into adulthood is heartbreaking and enraging, especially when contrasted with leadership figures who still appear evasive and defensive. This is not an easy watch, nor should it be. The film serves as an educational reckoning, forcing viewers to confront how trusted institutions can fail catastrophically when accountability is ignored. Scouts Honor isn’t meant to entertain; it exists to inform, honor survivors, and ensure these stories are never silenced again.

The way this documentary shows this problematic goes

The way this documentary shows this problematic goes straight into it. It doesn't try to hide anything or make it softer, it really goes deep into the topic and investigation. And actually leaves you wondering how much more cases there could be out there that have never brought to light. Highly recommended.
