Plot summary

Home with their newly-formed family, happy parents Dan and Jody are haunted by sinister, paranormal activities. Determined to expel the insidious force, they install security cameras and discover their family is being stalked by an evil dead demon.

Really, really bad. There are some okay jokes

Really, really bad. There are some okay jokes but most are just hard to watch. The Evil Dead parody scene was easily my favourite part of the movie, but it just made me want to turn this movie off and go watch Evil Dead.

I honestly enjoyed this movie a lot. It was dumb, ridiculous, and completely over-the-top, but that's exactly what made it so funny. The fight scenes had me laughing every time, and the scenes with the kids were hilarious, especially when they accidentally got hit during all the chaos. Even the scene with Jody and Kendra got a laugh out of me. It's definitely not a masterpiece, but it's a fun movie that never takes itself seriously and gave me plenty of laughs.

Scary Movie 5 is easily the worst entry

Scary Movie 5 is easily the worst entry in the entire franchise and a major reason the series lost momentum for years. It feels disjointed, unfunny, and far removed from the sharper parody style that made the earlier films work. Instead of clever satire, it relies heavily on crude sexual humor and random sketches that rarely connect into anything coherent. Ashley Tisdale’s performance is flat and underwhelming, and even the more exaggerated comedic moments fail to land.
