Plot summary

The janitor at a local high school is actually the scout for a coven of Satanists on the lookout for a virgin to sacrifice. One day he kidnaps the cheerleading squad to use for their rituals. However, unbeknownst to the devil-worshipers, one of the cheerleaders is actually a witch, and has plans of her own for the Satanists.

Gloriously awful! This movie combines the very worst

Gloriously awful! This movie combines the very worst of the worst and some how comes out as goofy, fun and cringe all at once. Satan's Cheerleader is almost a parody of exploitation movies take the Sexploitation cheerleading and smashes it into Cult/Satanic plot and written by a hacky stand up comedian. It never delivers on any of it but somehow it does at the same time. Wonderfully Wonderfully AWFUL!

Why did it take this long to get

Why did it take this long to get this movie on this site? Ms. Johnson (Jacqueline Cole, director Grayden Clark's wife) has perhaps the smallest cheer squad ever. Just four girls — Debbie (Alisa Powell, The Toolbox Murders), Sharon (Sherry Marks), Patti (Kerry Sherman, Eyes of Fire) and Chris (Hillary Horan, Young Doctors In Love) — who are more interested in playing touch football and getting scored on by the football team than doing their routines. After their car breaks down on the way to their big game, Billy the janitor and bus driver (Jack Kruschen, The Apartment) rescues them. And by rescue, I mean sacrificing them on an altar to Satan. They're saved again by a hobo (John Carradine), the sheriff (John Ireland) and his wife (Yvonne De Carlo) and you know what I always say: never trust Old Hollywood. Shot in ten days with no permits, Satan's Cheerleaders is mindless fun with an entire town devoted to the Lord of the Flies and a cheerleader with a secret of her own.

Five stars, but context is needed! I always

Five stars, but context is needed! I always watch this movie when I am home sick! It always makes me laugh because it stars John Ireland, John Carradine, Jack Kruschen, and Yvonne DeCarlo and is absolutely idiotic because of their deadpan deliveries. If you're having a tough day and need some mindless stupidity to take you mind off of things, this is the film for you! Listen carefully to the dialog, because it takes stupidity to the next level! As you follow this movie through its journey of stupidity and incompetence, you're sure to forget about what ails you! On the other hand, if you're not laid up, you'll probably last three minutes!
