Plot summary

Based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.

What an amazingly made and shot movie, one

What an amazingly made and shot movie, one of the few Bollywood movies depicting the Armed Forces with accuracy and without any unnecessary over dramatisation. Its clearly been well researched and it was amazing to see so many of the stories we heard growing up in the Army of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw brought to life so well. Really good acting overall and what a relief from the slew of over acted, badly delivered Army films that depict such crucial moments in our history with such painfully little thought put into them. Watching it a few years late but so glad I finally did! If you’re associated with the forces or an army kid, you cant miss it!!
