Plot summary

In Libya, an American tank commander, along with a handful of Allied soldiers, tries to defend an isolated well with a limited supply of water from a German Afrika Korps battalion during the Western Desert Campaign of World War II.

Watched it three time so far. Love the

Watched it three time so far. Love the M3 Grant tank as the centerpiece, that soon gave way to the M4 Sherman. Love the crusty veteran Bogart plays and outstanding supporting cast. Love how they make the barren dessert interesting in a life and death struggle with a story line that does not seem implausible.
