Oh my AI

What is the obvious AI talking head on a boat 8 minutes in?? Incredibly lazy filler material, hire an actor.Maybe the rest of it is good but that was so jarring I thought it was a joke at first.Oops review is too short. Um the shark tank people aren't good sources of info on Bitcoin. Stop being surprised that finance is corrupt in these documentaries, stop explaining things everybody knows.

Had potential.

Great premise and potential. However, some of the worst editing I've ever witnessed. Chopping interviews to add dramatic pause made it less personal and authentic. It felt like the makers of this film were given a mandate that the film must be no less than 1hr and 48 min, like when you were given a homework assignment to write an essay with a minimum word count and you waste so much time adding filler. Made this very boring. It just wasn't good.

This is a great introduction into what happened to the crypto market in 2022. Good storytelling, appropriate and easy to understand explanations for a regular person who is not a finance wizard by any means, like me.I got interested in financial crimes after watching the documentaries about Perdue Pharma, 3M, Madoff, Wells Fargo and a few other organizations accused and convicted of financial crimes of huge proportions.I feel like watching this documentary would help you understand what's been happening in that mysterious world of cryptocurrency where millions have been made and lost, and that has been racked by scandals since its inception. It's a good starting point for someone willing to find out why and how this all happened. There are many questions it didn't answer, like why there is still no effective and comprehensive cryptocurrency legislation, how come all other financial institutions and regulatory agencies were blind to the fraud going on under their nose etc, but the producers likely just wanted to keep to just FTX/Alameda without touching on general industry issues. It would also give more legitimacy to the story if there were more known and respected industry players interviewed, and not just half of Bloomberg staff itself, although all of them seemed quite qualified to talk about the subject.I still liked it a lot and highly recommend it.
