Rudolph's Shiny New Year is a decent standalone

Rudolph's Shiny New Year is a decent standalone follow-up to the classic 1964 special, managing to capture some of the same stop-motion charm and holiday storytelling style that made the original so memorable. While it doesn’t quite reach the same level of impact or warmth, it still holds its own as a light, festive adventure that works well on its own terms. One of the highlights is the narration by Red Skelton, who adds a familiar and comforting presence that helps guide the story and gives it an old-fashioned storytelling feel. The pacing is simple and the tone stays family-friendly throughout, making it easy to watch without needing any prior context. Overall, it’s a modest but enjoyable holiday special that fits nicely alongside the original without trying too hard to surpass it. i’d rate it a 6/10.

I have watched this movie many times and

I have watched this movie many times and while it may not be the best movie ever, it certainly is an experience. I believe everyone should see this cinematic masterpiece at least once in life. (Spoiler) The best part is definitely when Benjamin Franklin appears.
