Brilliant even though long one of the best

Saw it on chaupal. Frankly I was expecting it to be that long movie I watch by skipping after every 3 minutes which I did initially but film was well made so I watched . I was expecting it to be another boring college election drama but was I wrong. The back stories the character arcs the merger of stories was simply too brilliant.The craftsmanship of people who worked on it is commendable from acting, direction, cinematography songs everything was one of best I watched in recent years.Absolutely must watch film I am sure after 15 minutes you will like the film I am just deducting 2 numbers from rating as I didn't expect certain end but still it was done of the best punjabi films and I usually don't rate so high. So go watch.

A different genre in Punjabi Cinema... review by Gurpreet Singh Rinku

When I first saw the trailer of the Punjabi movie 'Rode College', I felt sad that it was made to earn money by pushing students to fight and quarrels. It was a simple movie, but after the release on Chopal, I started the movie on the request of some friends.

Couldn't get up without watching till the end. Script, dialogues, editing, direction and acting all seemed to be of excellent quality.

Happy Rode and their entire team have proved through this film that a good and different genre film can be made in Punjabi Cinema without cheap comedy.

Looking forward to more projects like this from this team in the future.... #rodecollege #happyrode.
