The Prime Video survival horror movie is an unfortunate endeavor that struggles significantly to establish a steady momentum. It is a visually grounded production that focuses on a group of vacationing friends whose jungle kayak trip goes terribly wrong when they cross paths with a dangerous local tribe, proving that an isolated thriller requires tight pacing and sharp execution to create genuine suspense. The cast works hard to inject a sense of panic and urgency into the escalating nightmare, showcasing an admirable commitment to the film's tense premise. The performers try their absolute best to navigate the intense physical demands of the survival scenario, maintaining a solid work ethic even as the script settles into a highly disjointed and uneven storyline. While the natural jungle backdrops look great, the final product remains a tough watch that unfortunately misses the mark.
