2rageinblack: Don't forget about Rasen (Spiral). It's a literary sequel (as opposed to a movie sequel which is Ringu 2) that was filmed and released simultaneously with Ringu in 1998. Ringu is a unique movie that has two parallel sequels, one adapted from a literary source (Rasen) and another one original written for screen (Ringu 2).
