Woooosh, as the film goes over a lot of people's heads Rich Flu is drenched in metaphor, wealth accumulation itself is the disease. The "Flu" is a Metaphor for Greed, not meant to be a convincing physical disease... The film imagines a world where a mysterious virus targets the ultra-wealthy, forcing them to relinquish their fortunes to survive. But the twist? Even when stripped of their wealth, many characters remain infected-not physically, but psychologically. The disease isn't just biological; it's symbolic of: Insatiable greed: Characters like Laura Palmer are shown clinging to luxury items (like her watch) even when survival is at stake. Transactional relationships: Laura sees everything-including love and family-as a negotiation, a deal to be won. Moral decay: The rich scramble to offload their assets not out of altruism, but to escape death. Their philanthropy is performative, not redemptive. It's a Satirical, Dystopian Allegory Director Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia (also behind The Platform) uses the virus as a narrative scalpel to dissect: Class fragility: The rich, once untouchable, are suddenly vulnerable. Their power structures collapse like sandcastles in a storm. Capitalism's absurdity: The film asks, "What do you do when the wealth you've hoarded is worth less than the air you breathe?". Society's complicity: Even those outside the elite are drawn into the system, seduced by the promise of wealth and status. Why It Went Over People's Heads... It's abstract, intentionally opaque, and doesn't spoon-feed answers. The narrative is more parable than plot-driven thriller. That ambiguity can frustrate viewers expecting a conventional story arc-but it's precisely what makes the metaphor so potent. Rich Flu isn't just about a virus-it's about how greed metastasizes into every corner of a person's life, until even love, identity, and morality are infected
@FakeNews No one cares about politics here.. We want an honest review on the movie...Keep your politics to yourself.
let's all be happy and live like cavemen. Sorry if you own anything you're rich. If you want anything for yourself or your family you're rich. Might as well un-alive yourself. What a stupid movie. I You're trying to make a point you have to be rich to make this movie lmao.
Socialist propaganda. The jealous and lazy want what the rich have, and get violent. Regrettably I watched it all, hoping that in the end it would be redeemed like it was just a bad dream, but no - thebad acting, writing, and directing prevailed.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead is doing OK, but the rest of the actors are doing a horrible job and seems so fake and like NPC's. Turned it off after 20 min...

"Leftrightbothwrong" is a phaggot if he thinks that rich people making a movie about how bad being rich is, is profound. lmao
