Plot summary

Return of the Living Dead III is an

Return of the Living Dead III is an okay sequel that keeps the title alive without matching the energy of the earlier films. It has a darker tone, creepy atmosphere, and a few ideas that help it stand on its own, even if it does not always feel as sharp or fun as fans may hope. What works best here is the movie's distinct, odd style. The practical effects, moody visuals, and cast all give it enough personality to stay watchable. It is not the kind of sequel that overwhelms you, but it has enough going for it to remain interesting from start to finish. Overall, I would call it a decent follow-up rather than a great one. It is flawed, uneven, and a little too restrained at times, but it still earns some credit for trying something different. For me, it lands at a 5/10: not bad, just average.

They might as well have called this Romero

They might as well have called this Romero & Juliet. Should have been the Goldmember of ROTLD movies. Needed just a dash of Tarman as well.

Not as good as the second return of

Not as good as the second return of the living dead and definitely not as good as the first.
