I honestly thought this movie was amazing especially

I honestly thought this movie was amazing especially when I was younger and going through a hard time, watching this movie made me laugh and also feel better about myself. The point of the movie comes across perfectly clear and I believe it’s a great way to show children or even some adults how important self love is and also being comfortable with yourself. Fuck the haters????

This is a painfully dumb movie. Someone asked

This is a painfully dumb movie. Someone asked the question "what if we made a princess fat and unattractive?" And made an entire movie on that premise. It’s supposed to show true beauty is more than skin deep, but instead it just heavily confirms that fat people are ugly. I mean they literally have a cursed fat girl put on magic slippers that make her pretty and thin. It’s just a fundamentally flawed movie in every possible way

As a woman who grew up with body

As a woman who grew up with body image issues, I cannot believe this is even a movie for kids. The movie begins with a "cursed" girl who is on the larger side who finds magic shoes and becomes a skinny princess. This is targeted toward young girls who are at a vulnerable age to begin having body image issues when this is portrayed. I made my 7 year old turn it off.
