Plot summary

A Covid comedy that is mostly driven by the improvised conversations between two best friends in a car, "Stop & Go" may not exactly be the debut film from "Studio C" alumns Whitney Call and Mallory Everton that Utah fans have been waiting for, but it's a refreshing exercise in how women realistically talk to each other.

These Ladies are really funny. I really enjoyed

These Ladies are really funny. I really enjoyed watching them in the studio C sketches and the Loving Life videos. I was really excited to see them in their first movie. For me personally it’s a miss fire. The premise is great and the first act is well done. But once the characters go on their road trip, there’s nothing really standing in their way or really preventing them from reaching their goal. By the end of the film, they had a real moment where you feel genuine emotion for the characters. Only for that moment to go out the window a few minutes later. What a shame. I really wanted to like this movie.

Hilarious! I can imagine when it came out

Hilarious! I can imagine when it came out, it was too close to COVID's beginnings, but now, it's hilarious remembering some of the things we use to do before we knew how it was transmitted. The actresses were so hilarious I had to look up if they were actually sisters in real life (nope, but best friends).
