Plot summary

Four American soldiers in WW2, after witnessing the vicious murder of an innocent civilian at the hands of their platoon Sergeant, are sent on a reconnaissance/suicide mission led by a local partisan.

Wasn't sure what to make of this. It

Wasn't sure what to make of this. It is meant to be based on a true story, but the motivations were suss all around. Why was the guide just happy to leave his possessions and treck aimlessly up a hill (and why didn't the group think this was odd)... ..... and why did they have to walk so far when a simple recon flight could have discovered what they saw in a 10 minute flyover.... Having said that, well shot, if not drawn out, and good moody score. If you like WWII movies could be one to watch if you have time to kill.

A movie showing the actual effects on troops. Psychological and thought provoking. Not the meaning of life. Entertaining and makes you think. War is HELL.
