Plot summary

Randy Rhoads’ guitar riffs re-shaped rock ‘n roll and raised the stakes for guitarists around the world. Known primarily as the lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and for his groundbreaking guitar work on the albums “Blizzard of Ozz” and “Diary of a Madman”, Randy spent most of his life playing in a small band known at the time, Quiet Riot. After leaving Quiet Riot to play, record and tour with Ozzy, Randy died at the young age of 25 in a tragic plane crash in Florida. His body died that day, but his soul and music live on forever.

Even though this video is unauthorized, I could not help watch it on this all time A leaguer and Hall of Famer. It gives you insight into the genius of Randy Rhoads, who along with Bob Daisley wrote exceptional timeless classics and formed one of the greatest bands of all-time: Blizzard of Ozz. Randy in his short time, changed the metal landscape infusing classical guitar playing with metal. And it culminated in arguably the greatest rock album ever written, Diary of a Madman.

Finally a proper documentary about Randy Rhoads. Some great stories in there with some insight about the formative years and the amazing first meeting with Ozzy and sadly the awful tragedy. Highly recommended for Rock fans and beyond!
