Plot summary

Following the death of their miller father, his eldest son inherits the mill, the middle one a donkey, and the youngest a cat. While initially disappointed, the lad soon learns not only that the cat can talk but is quite resourceful.

Let your inner child out! Watching this film

Let your inner child out! Watching this film, take into consideration that one, this is from 1988. Two, it is a musical. And three, it is meant to be campy. And also three, it is a CANNON GROUP FILM!!!! Why is this important? Superman IV. Cannon Group made some abysmal films, and campy ones, and those movies that you like to watch but can't admit to. Like 'The Delta Force', or 'Cobra', or 'Mannequin'. This is why it is a gem. While Siskel and Evert would probably have a colonic irrigation following this film, it is meant to be what it is. Silly. Take away any pretentious ooze, enjoy Christopher Walken as a cat, yes enjoy it, and love it for its time!
